My bags are packed, I’m ready to go and in a few hours I’ll be leaving on a jet plane to attend the 
BlogPaws conference in Nashville, TN.
The conference is held annually and this year there will be approximately 500 pet bloggers in attendance.
For those not in the pet blogging world, or those attending for the first time, it can be pretty overwhelming and definitely not your typical “business conference.” BlogPaws is always held at a pet-friendly hotel, because the majority of attendees have pets that travel with them. There are all shapes and sizes of dogs, some cats and even the occasional ferret or two.
It’s nice to be able to meet fellow bloggers in person that you might’ve built virtual friendships with and built new relationships with those new to you.

The conference officially gets underway tomorrow and concludes Saturday. Each day will be filled with informative sessions on topics such as: Building A Profitable Purpose Driven Business, Building Your Pet Brand With Live Video Events, How To Become A Pet Celebrity Spokesperson, A Cat Writer’s Association Panel Discussion On Publishing, Getting Noticed By Media That Matters and many more topics to help grow a pet blog into a sustainable business.
There will Yappy Hours provided by our kind sponsors, and other fun events like working out with your pet with K9 Fit Club, and A Pawject Runway pet fashion show. The conference concludes Saturday night with the Nose-To-Nose Awards given to winners in a variety of blog categories.
I’m looking forward to meeting new people and pets, learning how to make this site bigger and better, and having a little fun too!
