If You’re Looking For A Book About How Cats Affect Our Lives…..

Strays: A Lost Cat, A Homeless Man and Their Journey Across American by Britt Collins

I highly recommend this book if you enjoy reading stories showcasing the bond between cats and their people.

This book is based on the true story of a man that rescues a lost cat. Their journeys around the country help save them both.

It’s a heartwarming read cat lovers are sure to enjoy!

Love Cat Humor………….?

The Devious Book for Cats by Fluffy & Bonkers

Every time I pick up this book and read something, it makes me laugh out loud.  It’s a “survival” guide written by felines, for felines.

Subjects covered include:

Getting Away With It

As the title suggests, this chapter gives cats step-by-step instructions on ways to come out on the innocent side when suspected by their humans.

Keeping the Mystery In Your Relationship

The strategy here is to always, in all ways, keep the humans confused about what their cats are trying to tell them.  When cat life gets boring, the tips in this chapter help make things interesting again.

Interested in Training Your Cat……………..

The Trainable Cat by John Bradshaw

It’s been a widely held belief that cats cannot be trained.  That isn’t the case, and this book gives step-by-step instructions on training cats for activities like cat agility and better coping during vet visits.

Get In Touch With The Spirituality of Cats……

The Dalai Lama’s Cat by David Michie

This book is written from a feline perspective.  A lost and injured kitten is rescued, then transported to the Dalai Lama’s residence. There she observes and documents his life.

She observes the comings and goings of political leaders, actors and other famous people and decides to document all she has seen.

There was so much to document, the series has now expanded to three books.  This is the first, the second is The Dalai Lama’s Cat and the Art of Purring, and the third is The Dalai Lama’s Cat and the Power of Meow.  The last two titles explore more of the Dalai Lama’s teachings and the feline point of view of it all.

Want to Learn About Cat Behavior?

Total Cat Mojo: The Ultimate Guide To Life With Your Cat by Jackson Galaxy

From the star of Animal Planet’s My Cat From Hell, his latest book takes the lessons he shares on his show to the next level.

From the history of cats, to catifying your living space, and why cats sometimes act in ways we don’t begin to understand, this book does a great job of explaining it all.

As a cat guardian, this book provides a great amount of insight into our feline friends, which will help strengthen the bond we have with them.

I definitely give this book two thumbs up!

Conclusion

These are all great books for cat lovers, I have them all in my library.  I prefer my reading old school, picking up a book rather than reading on a tablet or e-reader.

For those that prefer e-readers, all of the selections above are available in a Kindle version.  If you’re an avid reader and haven’t tried Kindle Unlimited, you can get a 30 free trial.
