Our first group of cover kitties would like to take this opportunity to wish you and your loved ones a very Merry Christmas!  Read a little about them below:

Shakara Cat was rescued from a “kill list” 11 years ago.  She had hip dysplasia and was missing most of her teeth.  The shelter identified her as moody, indicating she didn’t get along well with other pets or children.  Her family went to the shelter in search of a cat to add to their family.  They’d decided on a hyper, friendly tiger/tabby kitty named Pouncer and was about to take him home.  When they went into the room for the paperwork,  a sad White/Black cat named “Miss Kitty” was sitting there.   When she saw Pouncer she attacked.  The shelter worker mentioned Miss Kitty was waiting to be “taken care of” because they could not place her.  The family couldn’t let that happen.  They knew Pouncer would get a home but KNEW “Miss Kitty” was about to meet Rainbow Bridge.  They returned Pouncer and took Miss Kitty home.
Her family loves Shakara Cat (formerly Miss Kitty) dearly.  They were right about Pouncer finding a home quickly.  He was adopted the same day Shakara Cat found her forever home. Shakara, the once angry cat, has learned to trust and love over the years.  It just took some time and patience and true love!
Brandy was 19 years old when she passed away this summer.  She was the ultimate lap cat, and would throw in a lick or two for good measure!
Elton is a 2 1/2 year old, born to a feral mom.  His mom and two brothers left, but Elton stuck around.  He was bullied by other cats in the neighborhood, so his family was able to calm him enough to get him inside, have him neutered, and join their family.  He hid out under the bed for two weeks, but eventually gained enough confidence to come out and join his kitty sibling Tilly to become a loving member of the family.
Pailasson is a 22 pound bundle of kitty love and kindness.
Noah is a 15 year old boy that likes to help his people wrap presents.  He likes to play in tissue paper and enjoys talking to the squirrels outside.
Trinny is a 10 year old girl that loves to perform tricks.  Her human taught her to wave, high five, sit pretty and catch treats in her mouth.  She became deaf a few years ago due to unknown causes, but this hasn’t stopped Trinny!  She now knows many hand signals and continues to learn new tricks!
Isabella was sitting on the window sill looking through the Christmas tree when her human snapped this beautiful picture.
Fully Feline and the Cover Kitties wish you a safe and Merry Christmas!
