Kitten Bowl III: Game On!

Kitten Bowl III

Excitement is building for tomorrow’s big game.  The Super Bowl?  No, I’m talking about Kitten Bowl III!

The Kitten Bowl, sponsored by The Hallmark Channel, began in 2014 as a partnership with North Shore Animal League.  The players and coaches  are adoptable kittens from North Shore that are looking for forever homes.

This year’s game will be broadcast Sunday, February 7, beginning at noon ET/PT, 11C on the Hallmark Channel, and promises maximum excitement.

The four teams vying for the title are:

  • The Last Hope Lions
  • The Home And Family Felines
  • Boomer’s Bobcats
  • The Northshore Bengals

To give  your cat a chance to show his/her team spirit, The Cat-Lete Card Creator allows your cat to create his/her own player card!  My cat Marty, being a fierce competitor, created his card to show his support for Boomer’s Bobcats.  Check him out:

Another fun new feature added this year to give us a chance to be part of the action and show our support is the Kitten Bowl Emoji Keyboard.

The keyboard features emojis of some of the Kitten Bowl players such as Howie Longhair and Rob Gron-Cat-Ski, team logos and team coaches.  The Kitten Bowl III Emoji Keyboard is available via the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.  Here’s an example of the emojis in action:

The teams are gearing up for tomorrow’s game, and it promises to be a real nail biter!  Beth Stern will be hosting, Mary Carillo and John Sterling will be the announcers, and FFL Commissioner Boomer Esiason will be on hand to congratulate the winners!
