Some cat lovers almost become a cat themselves, at least that’s what happened to the character Catwoman in the Batman story.
Actress Eartha Kitt was the second actress (Julie Newmar was the first) to play the role on the Batman television series from 1967-68. There were few black actresses with regular roles on television at that time, making Kitt’s role that much more memorable.
At least ten actresses have played the role of the ultimate cat lover, Catwoman, and in this week’s picture, we have Ms. Kitt and a feline friend.
