Girl’s Paintings Help Homeless Cats

As reported in the Pittsburgh Post Gazette, although she’s only four years old, Jayla Glemba has figured out a very creative way to help homeless cats in need.

Last week alone, her paintings raised $775 via a Facebook auction. Her mother says Jayla knows her paintings are helping homeless cats, but Jayla isn’t aware of how much help she has already given and continues to do.

Jayla’s efforts began after becoming friends with a neighborhood homeless cat.  She decided she wanted to help her new feline friend and others like him.  Jayla hasn’t had any formal art training, but uses photographs to create her paintings.
