12 Days of Christmas: Marty’s Version

My cat Marty likes to show his creative side occasionally, putting his own spin on traditional music like the 12 Days of Christmas. He’s taken this opportunity to rewrite this classic song with his own feline twist:

12 days of Christmas

 

On the 1st day of Christmas, my human gave to me:
  • A catnip toy just for me.
On the 2nd day of Christmas, my human gave to me:
  • Two dog-free days and
  • A catnip toy just for me
On the 3rd day of Christmas, my human gave to me:
  • Three yummy treats,
  • Two dog-free days and
  • A catnip toy just for me
On the 4th day of Christmas, my human gave to me:
  • Four squirrels to watch,
  • Three yummy treats,
  • Two dog-free days and
  • A catnip toy just for me
On the 5th day of Christmas, my human gave to me:
  • Five pictures of the dogs in silly outfits,
  • Four squirrels to watch,
  • Three yummy treats,
  • Two dog-free days and
  • A catnip toy just for me
On the 6th day of Christmas, my human gave to me:
  • Six toys the dogs won’t try to eat,
  • Five pictures of the dogs in silly outfits,
  • Four squirrels to watch,
  • Three yummy treats,
  • Two dog-free days and
  • A catnip toy just for me
On the 7th day of Christmas, my human gave to me:
  • Seven new scratchers (a different one for every day of the week),
  • Six toys the dogs won’t try to eat,
